Visuels très instinctifs, facile et amusant, bref parfait pour apprendre à tracer et à associer. Version en français serait appréciée!!
My child really loves all your games and your mascots. Especially the baby named Timmy on the Home Screen. Keep up the great work!
Not what i needed as i want to quiz my 4 year old on separate upper and lower case letters. She can easily know them if she has the other one next to it to give her a hint. Wish they had flash cards with single letters on them. The tracing will be handy though.
My 6yr old son was really struggling until we started using this app together. The robot sounds and vibrations it makes while he traces the letters and says the letter sounds out loud to me is jut what he needed to stay focused and be interested in doing the app. Now my 3 year old wants to be just like his brother and he is loving this app. They are different kids and while my now 3 yr old is all about learning his letters my 6 year old would never have used this app when he was 3. I am sooooo thankful for this App!
This tool works to teach how to properly write letter. I recommend it to parents.
Only lets child trace letters to letter H then screen goes black and rockets show up. Rest of alphabet does not come up.
I am a Behavior Specialist in the schools district. I have witnessed children with very low cognitive levels and poor coordination master some of the exercises in the application. The joy and personal sense of accomplishment the child emits is gratifying.
Great app for kids learning to write and identify letters.
My son loves this app. He doesn't like flash cards.l but loves this interactive app. Teacher mode is a great feature.
The app keeps freezing before we can trace through the entire alphabet.
I love this app for my preschool class! It is a great way to support their beginning writing skills! I very rarely buy an app but I purchased this full version and it was worth it! They also have great customer service when encountering any problems!!
I'm a professional tutor who often works with pre-k kids. This app is easy for them to use, provides instant feedback on responses, and has four different approaches to teach letter recognition and letter sounds. My device wouldn't play the sound. I sent an email to the designers ( there's a button for that!) and heard back from the very quickly. Problem solved. Well worth the money.
Cannot finish tracing the letter E. But tracing the first four letters is just fine. Wish the app worked for the whole alphabet. Very disappointing.
I love everything about this app except for uppercase letter K. The placement of the bottom half of the K is incorrect. It should connect at the middle of the first line wrote/drawn. Hoping it is fixed as I bought this app to help my child with his handwriting and his name begins with, guess what letter...K!
I would not even give it a star
No sound! Completely disappointed!
My 3 year old LOVES this app! He loves the firework prize that you receive once you have traced the alphabet and he has actually started trying to write letters and has been successful at it due to this app.
I bought the full version of this app because I was so impressed with the preview, especially for tracing and matching letters. Then we got to the letter flash cards and the words for each of them. For letter o, instead of choosing octopus or octagon, o is for owl. Apparently an educator was not the designer of this game because when teaching a young child letter recognition, the letter should be associated with its common sound. Then we have x is for xylophone. Everyone does it, but it's such a mistake. X should be for box or fox. I hope the game designers see this review and think about updating the flash cards with more appropriate words and sounds. Then it would be a 5 star review for me.
I had the free version of this and it's such a wonderful app I had to buy it. Purchased both the numbers and letters app. Both of my toddlers love the games and don't even realize they are learning.
Please update
Unless the letter is traced neatly which most little kids cannot do, the tracing stops/freezes. App not recommended.
The star feature of this app is the handwriting practice, and that part is perfectly fine. However, the flashcards section is very frustrating for my two year old daughter. Often when she taps the flashcard to flip it over, it reads the input like she's sliding her finger to a different screen, so it changes all the flashcards rather than flipping it over. I have the same problem. Way too sensitive. If they fix it, it might be a little more useful.
Excellent app for my three year old! Easy to learn, educational and my daughter loves the fireworks that signifies she "wins" I bought the full app because she loves it so much.
As a primary teacher, I love that this app teaches correct letter formation. As a mom of a toddler and preschooler, I love that this app teaches the sounds of the letters and uses both upper and lower case letters.
My 4 year old son now knows how to identify each letter and write the entire Alphabet not only in Upper Case Letters but Lower Case Letters Also!! Awesome educational app
My kids don't like tracing with pencils or crayons as much as they love this app....matching upper case and lower case is also cool....would recommend it to everybody.
Overall, this is a great app. My son just turned 3 and has been working on tracing his letters at daycare, so I wanted something similar for home. At the end of tracing the alphabet he is rewarded by the 1812 overture and fireworks, which he thinks is amazing. The one negative is that he is a lefty and many of the tracing instructions are opposite what he would naturally do.
This app is amazing! My 3 yr old is tracing to perfection! She is not only entertained but learning at the same time! I love it!
20mo old daughter loves learning how to draw the characters. Excellent alphabet learning game. Thanks
Great alternative from the brain killers.
It would be nice if the sound worked. However, my daughter does like the app. Like the other reviewer said, if sound worked, it would be five stars from me as well.
Five stars if sound worked.
This has been a great learning app for my daughter. She enjoys all of the different learning sections. I'm so glad they added lower case letters as well.
My daughter loves this and it has really helped her with her letters!!
This app is fantastic. My 2 year old loves it and she gets really proud of herself when she finishes an activity.
My three year old daughter is learning great with this app!!! She has a blast using it!!!! Thank you!!!
My daughter Ioves writing her letter with this app. My 5 year old boy likes it too.
After trying out several handwriting apps for my pre-schooler and 1st grader, this is by far the best one. Most apps just have an arrow to show the direction to trace. Letter Quiz, actually has a moving dot to demonstrate stylus, or finger flow. This app is extrememely user friendly and allows to practice all letters in caps or lowercase, or just certain letters that children need to focus on. Can't wait for the cursive app! I highly recommend this for all ages that need to practice their letters.
App was great then letter tracing stopped working. It still works for uppercase but not lowercase. Please fix.
The tracing portion of the game is terrible and wholly inappropriate for toddlers with developing motor skills. Tried it first myself with reservations in the trace function( the point if this app) The navigation throughout the app makes no sense and I wonder if children were even considered in the development of this waste of app space. Deleted and thanks for nothing.
It is a really great app... when it works. You never know whether it will work or not and if it doesn't you have a very frustrated toddler.
Upgraded app to latest version on iPhone 4S and now the lower case tracing program doesn't work properly. Letters a, b, d & y don't highlight when tracing. Note: I haven't upgraded to iOS 7 on my phone.
This app is wonderful!! It's been great helping me teach my 3 year old. I love the new update, and when I had a little trouble they were very quick to help and pleasant to work with!!!
My 2 and 3 year olds love to play this game and they know all their letters, upper and lowercase, because of it! Such a useful tool and entertaining too!
First of all the content and objectives are great. I wish though that the home button(red house) be moved from the bottom left because it often gets tapped accidentally by my left handed son. This would REALLY HELP. FIX THIS SOON!!! Also the ability to select which letters you want in the matching game and flash cards would be better, as learning children are more successful in small chunk environments. Fix all the issues and this app gets 20 stars!!! Ok ok 5 is the max.
Love this app for my daughter but wish they had the lower case letters to trace as well
My 4 year old loves this app! He actually started using it at 3 when he was first learning his letters. He still uses it every time I give him my phone. He loves tracing the letters, the upper and lowercase matching is fun, and the pictures are great. Great app for anytime, anywhere. I contacted customer support at one point with a question and the response was quick easy. Excellent app and support!
I use this app with my ESL toddlers and up to introduce them to writing the alphabet. The ability to choose the letters and upper vs lower case makes it a great app. I pair it with a stylus that looks like a crayon to get the kids used to the feel of writing. They get really competitive when it comes to neatness and love that they feel like big kids while writing. I would highly recommend this to any parent or teacher that has kids just beginning to write!
I wish that they would say the sound of the letter instead of just "B ball". The letter tracing is great. The also need to mix up the uppercase to lower case matching so the aren't always matching against the exact same letters.
My six year old love it. It is such a good app for teaching handwriting. Would love to have the option to to erase and retrace a letter that was done. It would also be nice if the ball moved the entire length of the letters. He follows the ball but it stops half way through so he also stops but is now getting the idea of tracing the entire length of the letter.
